Yoga for Children is FANTATIC & FUN !
I offer a complete, age-appropriate Yoga practice including breathing instruction, relaxation techniques, stretching and strengthening poses, all using fun-filled music, games, and imagination. My secret is playfulness, keeping your child motivated, excited, and moving.
This is not your typical Yoga class. Our classes gets children singing, dancing, skipping, marching, jogging, shaking, laughing, hopping, limbo-ing, and storytelling ALL while practicing Yoga to great music.
Little Yoga Posers encourages self-expression with the use of imagination and creativity, physical postures and vocal sound effects. By incorporating relaxation and breathing techniques into daily life, our little ones get better at dealing with anxiety, healthy sleeping patterns and stress.
Kids especially enjoy the playfulness of balancing like a tree, or the creativity of mimicking an animal. Yoga is dance, gymnastics, meditation, acting, visualization rolled into one. It enhances strength, flexibility, balance, alignment, focus and concentration. It builds stamina & confidence & helps everyone to connect more closely with their inner wisdom and guidance.
This age group wants to go to Treasure Island, play in the snow, swim with the dolphins, and explore the jungle!
Little Yoga Posers incorporate as much creativity into the class as possible, making uses of story books, games and much more. This would further facilitate in their breathing, flexibility and balance.

Well, they are growing fast! And most of the developmental and physical limitations that the younger age groups experience are behind them. Kids this age are fast and full of energy, their imaginations are wild, and they love playing and moving . They love new challenges, and they will always want to show you how well they practice.
